Roswell, GA – enAble of Georgia will hold its 22nd annual GALA at 6 PM on the evening of Saturday, March 6^th, 2010, at the Crowne Plaza Ravinia. 

enAble, a non-profit organization based in Roswell, has a mission of enabling individuals with developmental disabilities to live full and independent lives in the community.  The organization provides support for over 100 individuals, including residential, vocational, and private in-home services.  enAble has 19 group homes across north and south Fulton county. 

As guests arrive at the GALA they will have a large assortment of silent auction items on which to bid while enjoying complimentary wine and hors d’oeuvres.  The evening will get into full swing as the auctioneer kicks-off what promises to be an exciting verbal auction preceded by a lovely seated dinner. The remainder of the evening will be open to dancing the night away.

Sponsors for this year’s GALA include presenting sponsor Brown & Co. Jewelers as well as InterContinental Hotels Group, The 680 Group – UBS Financial Services, and others.  Frank & Terry Brown have served as Host Committee Chairs again this year. 

“Faces of Inspiration” is the theme of the 2010 GALA.  This theme helps underscore the individuality and pride of each of the people served by enAble.  The theme also serves as a reminder to put the person before their disability.  Original artwork conceived by Terry Brown was used on the invitation. 

In the past, proceeds from the GALA have helped bridge the gap in funding between the person-centered services provided and the amount reimbursed by the State.  It is anticipated that the 2010 GALA will far exceed previous years’ success.
